3D measuring instruments can very accurately capture the actual dimensions of parts in the form of a digital 3D model. The coordinates in the X, Y and Z axes are recorded for each measuring point. The output of the 3D measurement is a point cloud, which must then be processed in CAD software.
The QSR24h company has a 3D measuring arm for measuring and evaluating with a touch head and a laser scanner. The device is completely portable and ready for use directly at your place.
For touch head measurements, the sensor touches the surface of the part to be measured and the exact coordinates of the point at the point of contact of the sensor tip are recorded. Using a 3D scanner, we can accurately scan the entire part and create a digital model even in the case of very complicated parts.
